At Art Gym yesterday we took a look at 6 types of comics transitions, and we made comic strips using two of them.
The first was a way to quickly gather perspective from your day and use this current moment to collect inspiration, memories and ideas and turn them into a comic strip. Out life experience is a powerful and precious wellspring of creative gold and the first comic strip we did helped us sift for that goal.
The process is relaxing and richly satisfying. It’s also repeatable and encouraged daily.
The second comic we made was an exercise in turning the minded gold from our daily life into characters and adding settings that completly transform life situations into fictional stories
