Art Gym: Mixing and Matching Art Materials
In this session of Art Gym,
and will lead you through exercises to mix and match art materials. Why mix and match materials?
Even though we use digital tools to create work, a knowledge and understanding of working with actual materials will make our use of digital brushes more convincing.
By mixing materials we actually develop unique techniques and color schemes that can inform or become a part of our style.
Having some material combinations on the road can allow for some really joyful experiences where we’re focused on the setting, subject and drawing, rather than complicated outdoor set ups.
This session of Art Gym is an opportunity to practice, learn, and discover new ways to use and mix materials. Join us for a session of creativity, learning, and community building!
